We will reopen FEBRUARY 2019 in our NEW LOCATION down on 4th Avenue next to Starfire!
A lot has been happening and we apologize for leaving you hanging! Let’s catch up.
We started building our new expansion early Spring 2018 and we are set to open February 2019!
The brewery is visible in the pub on the first floor where we also have a large retail shop and an outdoor beer garden that features a retractable awning so you can comfortably enjoy our brews rain or shine.
The main dining room, along with a small bar, is on the SECOND FLOOR, which also has outdoor seating on the south-facing deck so you can catch unobstructed views of Mt. Harding.
The third floor is not to be left unmentioned either as it showcases our indoor garden where we will be growing our own herbs and leafy greens. And all greens served will be fresh from the plant to the plate having been harvested within 24 hours!
Last but not least, we will be reusing our fryer oil and converting it to biodiesel. All of the domestic hot water in the building and the in-floor radiant heating, and the steam used in the brewing process, will be tempered from a boiler that runs on biodiesel we create. The CO2 generated from the brewing process will be captured and diverted to the indoor garden, increasing growing capacity by 15-20%. Whew!
But that’s not all.
We are opening a taqueria-style restaurant in our current location on 7th — aptly named Mexi Co.
Aaaaaand….. down on the harbor we’re opening up The Smokehouse — local brew & barbecue.
You’ll be able to get your favorite Skagway Brewing ales at all THREE locations!
