The Little Things, There's Nothing Bigger.

We live and breathe Alaska—cherishing its fresh air, clean water, and unspoiled nature. This deep respect for our land shapes everything we do, from the food we cook to the beer we brew and the way we run our business. Embracing the pioneering spirit, we strive to deliver the best possible meal, beer, and brewpub experience while prioritizing sustainability. From aeroponics and biodiesel to locally sourced fish, reclaimed lumber bar tops, and paper straws (available upon request), we focus on both big and small details to minimize our environmental impact. Though Skagway is a small town with around 1,000 year-round residents, our establishment is one of the largest in Alaska—yet still a place where locals gather and visitors are always welcome. Come for the food and beer, stay for the good times, and become part of the history that has made Skagway Brewing a proud tradition since the infamous Days of ’98.

Skagway’s Best, According to You

ANDIE G.

Skagway Brewing Company is always a highlight of our stop in port when cruising through Alaska! The beer selection is fantastic and perfectly suits our tastes, with plenty of great options to enjoy. It’s become a must-visit on our list every time we’re in Skagway. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s the perfect spot to relax and soak up the local vibes. If you’re in town, don’t miss out—highly recommend!

We had a perfect experience at Skagway Brewing Company. We were in town for a cruise and since it was blustery out, we decided to head here to try some crab. The Alaskan red king crab was so good! Additionally we had the onion rings, brussel sprouts and chili. All of it was delicious and Jayden was great. Such a great, chill atmosphere. Make this a stop when you’re in town, you won’t regret it.

CLARISSA F.

Came for our day in Skagway off the cruise ship. Husband got a burger (it was delicious) and I got the halibut fish and chips and it was AMAZING. Cannot recommend more. People were even walking out talking about the food. Definitely a go to stop when you come to Skagway, AL!
